Senior ABA light-flyweight champion Benn Norman has signed professional contracts with promoter Carl Greaves.
Boxing manager and promoter Carl Greaves announced on Facebook: "Delighted to announce the signing of former Haringey Box Cup champion, Tri Nation silver medallist, Senior ABA light-flyweight champion and England representative Benn 'Little Stormin' Norman a very talented lad with a big future ahead.
"Benn will be co-trained by his dad Shaun and Lee Harris, and will be making his pro debut in July."
Benn, 22 from Shepshed in Leicestershire, added: "It’s a great opportunity signing with Carl."
Shepshed Boxing Club's Benn is the younger brother of former English flyweight champion Louis Norman, who is 25 and has experienced seven years and 21 fights in the pro ranks. '2Sweet' was the English champion in December 2013 when he beet Nathan Reeve on points in just sixth pro contest. He conceded the title in 2015 to the current WBC world flyweight champion Charlie Edwards, so will be a great source of advice to his younger brother as he adapts to the professional game.
Benn experienced 52 amateur fights and represented his country for many of those. He will be deep in training at the Norman Warriers Boxing Club for the coming months preceding his pro bow in the summer.
