Urban menswear fashion label HÖRFA have partnered with British middleweight champion Tommy Langford to be the face of their popular streetwear brand
Emerging brand HÖRFA have partnered with British middleweight champion Tommy Langford to be the face of their popular streetwear label.
The Bideford-born boxer will represent the independent brand that originates from the same coastal seaside town where he grew up in Devon.
Initially founded in 2017 as a men’s watch company, HÖRFA diverted their attention to streetwear collections, with unique designs curated by the best street artists and photographers.
Founded by Adam Bright, Luke Renton and Jason Collier, with over 10 years’ experience in retail fashion and art, the creators’ commercial attributes include working with the best manufacturers in the clothing industry and all HÖRFA clothing is made from 100% Organic Cotton – Earth Positive Fashion, saving the world one stitch at a time.
HÖRFA already has a celebrity following with support from the long-running Impractical Jokers TV Show; New York Jets’ NFL Star Jamal Adams; Pittsburgh Penguins' ice hockey star and Stanley Cup winner Jake Guentzel; USA International footballer and FC Schalke midfielder Weston McKennie; NBA superstar Marcus Georges-Hunt of the Minnesota Timberwolves; Eastenders actor Richard Blackwood; male model Mitch Palmer; and now the no.1 middleweight in Britain, Tommy Langford.
Co-founder Adam Bright commented on the new partnership, “We are really excited and proud to have Britain’s best middleweight boxer endorsing our products.
“To have such a high-profile athlete endorse our brand is a dream come true for us, and we are excited to see what the future brings for HÖRFA and Tommy.”
Langford, 28, is the current British middleweight champion and former Commonwealth and WBO Inter-Continental titlist.
The former England amateur captain now lives in Birmingham after deciding to leave North Devon to further his career under history-making trainer Tom Chaney at the Hall Green Boxing Club.
Ranked in the top 10 middleweights in the world, the talented 160-pounder commented on the newly-formed union, “I’m really excited to have partnered with HÖRFA. I was a customer already, having bought some of their watches before, so to be chosen as their ambassador is fantastic!
“I’m looking forward to working with HÖRFA, I had offers on the table from other labels but being a fan of their range already and having good synergy – both hailing from Bideford – the collaboration was an easy decision to make for me.”
In his last fight, Langford defeated the no.1 challenger, Jack Arnfield, to his British belt, live on ITV Box Office, on the undercard of the epic George Groves v Chris Eubank Jr World Boxing Super Series semi-final.
His next fight will be against Jason Welborn on May 4 in an all-Midlands battle at the Walsall Town Hall in the second defence of his Lonsdale belt.
